Kayuda N.V. is the controller of personal data collected through teak.center. This notice explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR.
1. What we collect
Contact details you provide (name, company, email, phone, delivery address), order and payment metadata, support messages and chat transcripts, and basic device/usage data such as IP address and pages viewed.
2. How we use it
To fulfil orders and provide support, to operate and secure the site, to send service messages, and — only with your consent — to send marketing or run analytics.
3. Lawful basis
Contract (orders and support), legitimate interests (site security, internal analytics, fraud prevention), legal obligation (tax, customs, accounting) and consent (marketing, non-essential cookies).
4. Sharing
We share data with processors who help us run the business: hosting and database providers, payment processors, shipping carriers and customs agents, email providers and our AI assistant provider. We do not sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Some processors are located outside the UK/EEA. Where this is the case we rely on UK/EU adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures.
6. Retention
Order and accounting records are kept for six years to meet HMRC requirements. Support transcripts are kept for up to 24 months. Marketing data is kept until you withdraw consent.
7. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, email elmer@teak.center. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local EU supervisory authority.
